Sometimes you are given a gift even though it doesn't feel like it right now. You have the opportunity to explore the person you want to be without a manipulative influence. The fact that she blames you for her actions should be a red flag to you. I hope you find peace and happiness as you move through this. When I left I was told that it was ok to be mad/sad but not to get stuck there, make sure you keep moving forward.

Still trying to cope with my new situation (wife woke up, cheated and left)
by nevaagain inas you probably might know already, i already posted some lengthy posts about my situation, here: part 1 and here: part 2 is here.. to make it short, four weeks ago, my wife confessed that she cheated on me and immediately went upstairs to pack and to leave.
this was planned from beforehand because she already managed for an apartment in a different city and a job there.
the next day she sent an email to the elders out confessing of her wrong doings and wishing to get disassociated.. as a reason why she left, she told me, that we should have never married, because we don't fit together.

Never a JW- I am a white female, who flies to SLC on a regular basis and I have been pulled into the "special room" to be searched and or interrogated three times. I don't think they are profiling me. In fact I travel often and have had that experience in Las Vegas, Baltimore, and Newark in addition to SLC. It's just the luck of the draw sometimes.
As far as the rest of this discussion I agree with Simon this time.

Elders harassing me
by raven inhi everyone, it has been a while since i've last updated!
(refer to my previous posts for the full story) here is a quick re-cap: 2 months ago my mother found out that i am living with my boyfriend, she told me i was discovered by an "anonymous" tipper who turned me in for "living in sin".. first of all, that is nearly impossible, the congregation i was in is 100's of miles away from where i currently live.. no one would have ever known i was living with my boyfriend unless i told them, which i never did, i cut off all communication with that congregation in part of my attempted fade which was blown into pieces and discovered.. anyways, my mom tells me if i don't go to the elders and confess like a good little sheep, then she is obligated to tell them.. ( don't see why, i don't even live under her roof ) well i never went to them because why should i?
so they met with my mother and she told them i live with my boyfriend... let me remind you, this was two months ago.. i was told i was going to be df'd and that was that.

Don't feel bad, for a time I had to not tell my family where I lived for the same reasons. We are on good terms now(as good as it can be with the cult involved). But it took a couple of years of reverse shunning to get the point across. You have to protect yourself from the harassment.

The police in my area are good guys. They support the community, volunteer with youth groups, and go to the schools for outreach programs. They have degrees and are required to pass physical fitness tests twice per year. They are not fat, dumb, and uneducated. Please don't generalize - there are a lot of good cops out there that do good things every day. They have bought food for people who were stranded, the police forces here give away car seats and bike helmets, teach high school students about drinking and driving and wearing seat belts. And these are only the stories I hear about, I am sure there are more good things I don't know about. There are a few bad cops that get a lot of press but there are a lot of good cops you never hear about.

Did I open the gate to the realm of demons?

Redpill- I don't think I can answer OC questions any better than I have. You have to be present and it requires touch. I think that alone makes it so she couldn't heal someone without their knowledge because their presence is required.
The person I see tells you up front it's not magic and anyone can learn how to do it with the proper training, but as with anything else some people are better at it than others. And she has told me some people do the energy work for animals. My friends and I joke that it is magic because you can't really explain how it works in a way that makes sense.

It's kind of like a massage but you don't remove your clothes, and she works with energy, instead of massaging a muscle. She can feel where energy isn't flowing properly and then goes about fixing that area. She does need to touch you for it to work, so she couldn't just see a picture of you and do anything. I went to her originally by accident when scheduling what I thought was a regular massage, but I am glad I found her.

Sometimes you are given a gift..........my sister is a hateful, mean person, so it's not really so bad that she shuns me. I don't like to be around people like that anyway.
